We received the message from the carrier informing us about Royal Mail and Parcel Force API maintenance. There shouldn't be any impact on the label creation and manifesting. The only impacted functionality is adding the new carrier configuration for the modules in the ShipStation API.
Message from the carrier: "We wanted to make you aware of an upcoming planned maintenance window affecting Royal Mail's Online Business Account (OBA) platform.
Royal Mail has advised that OBA will be unavailable between 00:00 and 08:30 BST on Saturday 8 August 2026 whilst essential maintenance is carried out.
During this time, OBA-related processing will be unavailable. However, you can continue to submit shipment and manifest data to Intersoft as normal. Any transactions received during the maintenance window will be queued and processed automatically once the OBA service becomes available again.
Please note: Any activities requiring a live validation against OBA will not be available during the maintenance window. This includes the activation of new Royal Mail services, OBA account verification, and new configuration requests that require OBA validation. Customers attempting to complete these activities during the outage period may receive validation errors.
To minimise disruption, new OBA account onboarding will be temporarily paused during the maintenance window, and any affected onboarding or configuration activities will resume once Royal Mail has completed the maintenance and the service is available again."
